US Blocking Bali Climate Talk Progress

There was a plain answer to the US delegation: "If there are no clear cut set targets as a result of the climate talks", said German Environment Minister Sigmar Gabriel, "the European Union is going to bocyott the climate talks of the major polluting countries to be organized in Hawaii by US president Bush."


There is no time for sham fights neither for paying lip service. Time is simply running out. Judging by US delaying tactics, the decision to be taken now would be postponed to the Greek calends.
